i want to change it. i want to change me.
Space Melt by Zach Terrell
I’m afraid that if you look at a thing long enough, it loses all of its meaning.

i want to change it. i want to change me.
Loneliness is the human condition. Cultivate it. The way it tunnels into you allows your soul room to grow. Never expect to outgrow loneliness. Never hope to find people who will understand you, someone to fill that space. An intelligent, sensitive person is the exception, the very great exception. If you expect to find people who will understand you, you will grow murderous with disappointment. The best you’ll ever do is to understand yourself, know what it is that you want, and not let the cattle stand in your way.
before you know it you’re in a room. surrounded by nothing but white walls. you ask yourself how you go there, and it’s a question you honestly can’t answer. there is a door. you know the door leads to somewhere, but you don’t have the key. you had it. but you lost it. you lost the key, so the only option now is to break the door down. but you know. you know it’ll take ten times the effort and energy. so you sit in front of the door and stare at it. you wallow in self pity, and you keep asking the walls, as though they have the answer- you ask them ‘why the fuck am I here, what the fuck have i done to the key’
